Rhodes College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Senior Seminar Final Paper

In this paper we present methods of classifying groups of order less than 32 (with 16 and 24 excepted). The techniques discussed include tools such as the Fundamental Theorem of nite Abelian groups, automorphism groups, semi-direct products, and the Sylow theorems. The ways we classify these particular groups generalize in the classiication of groups of higher order.
